Sara's First Two Weeks

Sara Elizabeth Crowe was born July 15, 2004. She is a beautiful, healthy and happy baby girl. Our first child. She was born 19.5 inches, 7 pounds 1 ounce and the cutest baby in the world! Labor lasted about 12 hours. Cynthia is recovering well. She was very strong. Mother and child were able to come home the next day.

Oh, yeah... the chicken. The morning of the 15th, Cynthia woke me up at 5am. She told me she was having regular contractions. After timing a few, we decided it was time to wake up and get ready. Outside, in my front lawn, I found a big black hen. Now I ask ya, what the hell kind of omen is that?
